At the ITF tournament in Quanzhou (China, $ 60 000), Yanina lost the quarter finals to Naomi Brady (WTA-134) in three sets (6-3 4-6 2-6, 2 hours and 2 minutes). At the WTA tournament in Anning (China, gravel, $125 000), Yanina again was stopped in the quarter finals, this time by Russian Irina Khromacheva (WTA-210), again in a three-setter (2-6 6-3 6-3, 1 hour and 48 minutes).
With a semi-final in singles (6-2 3-6 6-2) and a final (7-6(5) 6-3) in doubles, Yanina can look back on another successful tournament this season. Yanina is also back into the top 100, gaining 9 spots to #98.
Yanina didn't get through to main draw in this year's Miami Open. She won her first qualifications game against Olivia Rogowska (WTA 145) in three sets (6-4, 6-7 (3/7) 6-4), but Romanian Monica Niculescu (WTA 70) stopped her in the second.
